Who Makes The Best Corned Beef and Cabbage in New Hampshire?
WMUR-TV has the right idea. Let's fast forward these last few weeks of Winter and look ahead to St. Patty's Day! Where is the best spot to get corned beef and cabbage in the Granite State?
WMUR polled their Facebook followers on this important matter, and so far the following places seem to be the most popular amongst the Irish (or those who are just Irish on St. Patty's Day)
Kathleen's Irish Pub
Bristol
The Old Courthouse Restaurant
Newport
New England's Tap House Grill
Hooksett
Halligans Tavern
Derry
Poor People's Pub
Sanbornville
Holy Grail
Epping
My dad used to make awesome corn beef and cabbage when I was growing up. I think the secret is to make sure all of those flavors (the onions, carrots, cabbage, etc) mingle together and become friends! And the potatoes must be soft but not too soft.
