Going on year three with this pandemic, we are all being spread super thin. It doesn't matter what industry you work in. We are all being affected in some way, shape, or form. This past week, a friend of mine told me that her three kids were home from school. It wasn't because of a snow day or the temperatures being too cold for the kids to wait for the bus. The reason was that there weren't enough teachers to work! It is madness, madness I say!

Postal workers have been hit hard by Covid. Someone posted in the The (un)Official City of Dover, NH Facebook page that Postal Service in Dover is SEVERELY understaffed.

At the time of writing this article, there are 7 routes in the city that have no carrier.

This is a friendly reminder to be kind to the carrier you see, since they are most likely working twice as hard to make up for the shortfalls.

One member of the group asked a very good question in the comments:

"With this happening are we allowed to just go pick up our mail? Just curious."

The answer? Of course! You can always request that they hold your mail at post office.

We have seen this same issue time and time again over the course of this pandemic. There might be one waitress waiting on every single table in a restaurant AND making drinks behind the bar. You have two options. Option 1: you can be rude to her and give her a crummy tip because your beer took 15 minutes. Option 2: you could be kind and compassionate and realize she is only one human who is doing her best. Option 2 will give you better karma, just sayin'.
