Will a New Hampshire High School Receive a Golden NFL Football ?

Finally the NFL season is getting underway with the World Champion New England Patriots kicking it off against the Pittburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium.

This is also the 50th Anniversay season for The Superbowl and the NFL is celebrating with special limited edition "Gold" footballs as part of their High School Honor Roll program. The footballs were custom made at the Wilson Sportings Goods plant in Ada Ohio which has been manufacturing handmade NFL footballs since 1941.  The first gold ball is already enshrined in Canton Ohio at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

As part of the promotion NFL players return to their home states across the U.S.and give one of the commemorative footballs to someone that influenced their life and NFL career. 3000 coaches and players and over 2000 high schools will be receipients. Their names will also be on display as part of an exhibit at the Hall of Fame

I just hope some team or coach in the Granite State is earmarked for the tribute from the NFL.   I can think of a few, how about you ?
