Skiing is such an expensive hobby! I always use that as an excuse as to why I don't go but the truth is I would be on my tush the entire day and that's not fun for anyone. (Me or my husband who would have to peel my lifeless body off the snow after every fall)

The key is to learn when you are young and fearless. If you are a skiing family and love to take the kids for trips to slopes, then listen up!

According to Boston.com the following mountains offer free lift tickets to small humans:

Bretton Woods: kids age 4 and under with a paid adult
Cannon Mountain in Franconia: kids age 5 and under with a paid adult
Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford: kids age 5 and under
Loon Mountain in Lincoln: kids age 5 and under
Ragged Mountain in Danbury: kids age 5 and under with a paying adult

Did you know Bretton Woods was recently named among the 30 best ski resorts in the U.S and Canada by Conde Nast Traveler readers? Well if you don't know, now ya know!

Take advantage of all the amazing skiing we have around us. Trust me, your kids will thank you when they are older and have a fun activity they can look forward to in the Winter.
