15 Arrested For Durham Super Bowl Celebration Gone Awry
(Durham, NH) -After a 2-week investigation, Durham Police have been able to identify 15 people who caused damage to several vehicles during a celebration of the Patriots' Super Bowl win on February 5th.
Police say that the vast majority of the 3-thousand or so people who gathered that night were in a celebratory mood, but the 15 people identified through photos taken at the scene jumped on the parked vehicles, causing enough damage that they were deemed a total loss by insurance carriers.
Because of the extent of damage, all 15 arrested were charged with Felony Level Criminal Mischief and are free after posting PR bail.
The Durham Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the University of New Hampshire Police Department as well as the Strafford County Attorney’s Office.
