A New Recreational Marijuana Dispensary is Open in Maine
Light 'em up, or maybe you're more about the edibles. Either way, you can find both along with concentrates, topicals, vapes, and more at the newest home for recreational marijuana in Oxford.
Yes, the Maine small business landscape continues to add cannabis dispensaries, and this time they welcome The Hideaway Maine, an Adult Use 21+ dispensary in Oxford at 1192 Main Street.
According to the Office of Marijuana Policy in Maine, it's a multi-million dollar industry monthly for the state.
The newest owners are 3 guys from Maine. Mike Lowe, Clayton Brooks, and Ryan Sterling spent the last decade in the Aspen, Colorado dispensary market before returning. To add to their wealth of expertise, they teamed up with Colorado-based entrepreneur, Gabrie Higbie, to open The Hideaway.
Gabrie told me she thinks customers will see a difference with The Hideaway Maine because of their collective 25+ years of experience in the marijuana dispensary market.
We understand the importance of efficiency, education, and operating dispensaries. Our combined experience means something unique to the Maine Adult Use market and we know our customers will see this streamlined concept along with our unsurpassed knowledge and education.
Gabrie adds that The Hideaway Maine has partnered with Daddy O's restaurant in Oxford to donate proceeds from their cannabis sales to Daddy O's food pantry. They're also initiating community outreach with other Oxford area businesses to better cater together with the area as a whole, including summer and winter tourists.
Community relations is key because we're all in it together. Also, we will match or beat medicinal pricing, adding to customer accessibility and a cohesive community building relationship in a still growing industry in Maine.
