Why We Knew Steven Tyler Would Be Going Country

You may not know this, but we had an inkling Steven Tyler was 'going country' back in 2010. 

It was announced recently that Tyler has signed a contract with Nashville's Big Machine Label Group. His country album is expected to be released later this year.

But, it was the 2010 ACM Awards that we got our first glance of Steven Tyler going country. He joined Carrie Underwood on the MGM Grand stage in Las Vegas for a medley of Aerosmith's 'Walk This Way' and Carrie's hit, 'Undo it.'

Without a doubt, it was one of, if not the most memorable performances of the evening. I was fortunate enough to be there along with Mark Ericson because The Morning Waking Crew had been nominated for an ACM award. We didn't win, but it was an honor just to be nominated.
