Amherst, NH, Company Develops Wheelchair for Injured Baby Raccoon
According to WMUR, Vittles the raccoon from Arkansas lost her ability to walk after suffering from a brain injury at 8-weeks-old.
Walkin' Pets out of Amherst, New Hampshire, creates everything from dog wheelchairs to harnesses and specialize in helping aging, injured, or disabled animals. A wildlife rehabilitation specialist from Arkansas by the name of Susan Curtis partnered up with Walkin' Pets to help Vittles, the news station reported.
And now Vittles cruises around on this nifty wheelchair made especially for her.
Way to go, Walkin' Pets! After watching cute little Vittles I am considering getting a raccoon for a pet. They look so sweet and snuggly, minus the whole rabies thing.
