One of New Hampshire’s Favorite Mediterranean Restaurants Is Expanding
As someone who's always looking for my next favorite meal, I get especially excited when a locally loved restaurant decides to expand. That's exactly what's happening with Anatolia Mediterranean Restaurant.

The popular Somersworth restaurant has announced it's opening a second New Hampshire location inside the Centennial Hotel in downtown Concord, with a projected opening around mid-October, pending final preparations and approvals.

The new restaurant will call one of Concord's most historic buildings home. According to Anatolia Mediterranean Restaurant, "the Centennial Hotel dates back to 1876, when the property originally opened as the Centennial Home, one of New Hampshire's earliest charitable homes for elderly women. The current Victorian brick building was constructed in 1892 and has since been transformed into the boutique hotel guests know today, with recent renovations preserving its historic charm while adding modern updates."
One of my favorite things about New Hampshire is how much history is woven into our communities, and I love seeing a historic building like this begin an exciting new chapter.
If you're someone who loves stepping outside your comfort zone and trying new flavors (count me in!), this will be another great spot to add to your must-visit list. Anatolia is known for its authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, fresh ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere.

According to Anatolia, "What is unique and excellent about our restaurant is that we can offer up the freshest of produce and meats from the many local and New Hampshire farms. We are dedicated to buying local ingredients whenever possible, which not only enhances the culinary experience at our restaurant but also supports the local economy in a very special way."

That commitment goes beyond serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine, it also means supporting local farmers and businesses with every meal they prepare.
The expansion is a meaningful milestone for the restaurant, which reflected on how far it's come since opening its first location. In a recent social media post, the owners shared, "When we first opened our doors in Somersworth, we had one simple goal: to serve authentic Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine with fresh ingredients, warm hospitality, and a dining experience that made every guest feel like family."
They also credited their loyal customers for making the expansion possible, writing, "From one restaurant in Somersworth to two locations serving New Hampshire- this is only the beginning."

I know one thing's for sure, I can't wait for fall to arrive so I can pull up a chair and see what Anatolia has cooking in Concord.
