Apple Harvest Day in Dover was supposed to take place Saturday, Oct 17, and let me tell you, we were excited to try your apple pies!

Bad news is that the event has been postponed due to the weather, but the good news is that it WILL take place next Saturday, Oct 24!  So a little bit of time to perfect those apple pie recipes.

The location will be moved for next Saturday as well.  It will now take place at St. John's Methodist Church.

The scheduled events will remain the same:

10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. - Juggler Bryson Lang

11:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. - Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate

3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. - WOKQ Apple Pie Baking Contest
4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. - Acoustic Radio

Community Events Manager Morgan Faustino tells us that masks will be required when you are entering and exiting, as well as using the facilities. You will be able to take your mask off while you are sitting and enjoying the festivities.

They also plan to give each person two parking spots so you're able to park in one, and then take chairs or a picnic blanket out in the other spot, with plenty of room to socially distance!

We have some great prizes lined up for you for the apple pie contest including Kittery Trading Post Gift Cards and Lickee and Chewy's!   Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in two divisions: Adult, ages 15 and over, and Youth, for those participants 14 years of age and younger.

The event may be delayed a week but Chio is still excited to be a judge and try all your delicious pies.  If you haven't downloaded a registration form, you can do that now.

We'll see you next Saturday!
