New Public Piano Brings Art And Music To Meredith NH’s Main Street
There’s a new reason to stop and take a stroll down Main Street in Meredith, and it might just inspire you to sit down and play a song...

A beautifully decorated community piano has officially found a home in front of 51 Main Street (just outside the Meredith Historical Society), giving locals and visitors another unique reason to spend a little time downtown.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve spent my summers visiting Meredith, and I’ve ALWAYS loved how much this town embraces the arts and makes them such an important part of the community.
The piano is the result of a true community collaboration, bringing together artists, educators, musicians, local businesses and volunteers to transform an ordinary piano into a colorful work of art - that anyone can use!

According to the Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce and Shop Main Street Meredith NH, the project was led by Marilee Sundius and her students, who helped give the piano its new look.
The piano itself was acquired by Paul Moreau on Facebook market place, while Amy Grimm provided the location and Miracle Farms Landscape Contractors helped complete the surrounding piano patio and landscaping.
So, it really WAS a community effort to complete this piece.

But Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce said, getting the piano into its new home was a group effort... They even went on to list locals such as Vynnie Hale, Paul Moreau, Andrew Eaton, Jeremy Noyes and Nick Perry who helped move the piano into it's place.
Now, the piano is ready for anyone who wants to enjoy it. Whether you're an experienced musician or simply passing by, it's a fun new piece of Meredith's downtown.
