Bob’s Burgers Actor Seriously Injured in Car Crash in Bedford, New Hampshire

When we heard about the crash at the Bedford Toll Booth the other day from WMUR, the person who was pulled out of a car with the help of our Governor, Kelly Ayotte, was a famous voice over actor from the hit TV show, Bob's Burgers.

Yevgeny Mirman, who goes by the name of Eugene Mirman, the incredible voice over actor of Gene Belcher of Bob's Burgers has been identified as the driver of the car.

Gene is a huge character on the show. He plays Bob's son and has been with Bob's Burgers since the beginning.

The WMUR report says that Gene was driving an all-electric vehicle. When the car crashed, a group of people helped including Governor Kelly Ayotte and her NH State Trooper assigned to her.  The car later burst into flames. Gene was the only person in the car.

What is it About the NH Bedford Toll Booth?

As I recall, we have heard about crashes at the Bedford Toll Booth from time to time. It's a dangerous stretch of road.  I have traveled that section of the DW Highway a million times and every time I have gone through since they put up those huge cement barriers between each booth, I've been super careful.

I can imagine if someone is visiting from out of town, that section can get kind of hairy.  I'm hoping that Gene will make a full recovery and come back better than ever. He has given us more laughs than we can count.
