When someone from out of our area picks a favorite restaurant, it's hard to know if they really have tasted the food, but this time, I have to agree with the Food Network that Alley Cat Pizzeria in Manchester, NH pizzeria has one of the best slices in New Hampshire and dare I say, all of America.

Individual slices come in just two options — plain cheese and pepperoni — but the impeccable thin-crust alone makes them just as worthy of attention as the specialty pies.

According to Alley Cat's website, it was founded 25 years ago. They wanted to treat everyone who walked through their doors as family. If you're craving authentic New York style pizza, this is the place. They also have great subs if that's your thing.

Winning Awards isn't New to this NH pizzeria

Their website also states that they have won "Best of Pizza in Manchester" for 18 consecutive years, so it's not just the Food Network and me telling you that the slice is excellent, it's the locals as well.

This NH Pizzeria Has Authentic New York Style Pizza Slices

Fun fact: I used to live in Manchester, New Hampshire before my return to the Seacoast. My step-son, Wesley, loved Alley Cat Pizzeria. He has been a vegetarian since he was 10 years old, so in the beginning of that journey, it was hard to find quick dinner options for him. Once in a while, we would order him his favorite dinner, Alley Cat Pizza. Just cheese, if you please. He raved about it so much that I decided to try it and I was hooked from the first bite. I think it's in their sauce, or it could be their thin, hand-tossed, delicious crust. Whatever it is, it really is yummy.
