Three New England Restaurants Named in ‘America’s 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants’
Sometimes you need to bring out the big guns on a date night.
You put away the phone and say no to DoorDash. You don't head to your favorite dive bar. And no, Applebee's is not an option.
On special date nights, anniversaries, etc., you need to go to a beautiful restaurant. Not the most expensive one, per se, but one with a beautiful view inside and out.
Just last week, for their 50th anniversary, People came out with a list of America's top 50 most beautiful restaurants, three of which are from New England.
So on your next special night out, consider these restaurants if you're in the mood for a top-tier meal in a beautiful setting.
Maine: Earth at Hidden Pond
Earth at Hidden Pond came in at 19 overall in the top 50 list.
This restaurant screams Maine coziness. From the wooden chairs and tables to the fireplace, this is an inviting space.
Earth Restaurant is a part of the hotel at Hidden Pond. It was recently named in the top 10% of hotels WORLDWIDE (which is crazy). To see the entire resort in Kennebunk, Maine, check it out here.
Massachusetts: Wusong Road
As someone who grew up in Massachusetts, I was shocked to have never heard of this place. One word to describe the restaurant would be 'vibey'.
The place is a tiki bar, but a classy one (if that makes sense). This would be a really FUN date night, plus it ranked #21 in the top 50.
Wusong Road is in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
New Hampshire: Three Chimneys Inn and ffrost Sawyer Tavern
Coming in at the 29th spot, Three Chimneys Inn is similar to Earth at Hidden Pond. It is simple and cozy, and one of the oldest buildings in New Hampshire. And there is no way you can be uptight around this fireplace.
Three Chimneys Inn is located in Durham, New Hampshire.
