Is this for real?

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently went to Instagram to share their love for the Boston Japanese Restaurant, O Ya, and credits them for their long-lasting relationship according to masslive.com.  The beautiful couple just celebrated their 10-year anniversary that is a Hollywood story come true, but it appears it all began in Boston.  Lively proclaimed in her Instagram story “If it weren’t for this place. We wouldn’t be together. No joke.  No restaurant means more to us,” the actress said according to reporting from masslive.com.

Is the story true or is she just being a wonderful human being to help get some local restaurants some much-needed love and publicity to recover from the pandemic shutdowns?  Either way, it’s a great thing to do. Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, how goes by the Instagram handle @vancityreynolds was in Worcester recently where he was filming “Spirited” which is a musical based on Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol.”  Filming was taking place at Mechanics Hall.

Not Only Restaurants benefited

The shout-outs from Lively were not limited to O Ya, she also proclaimed the best donuts can be had at Kanes Donuts who took the opportunity to respond by reminding Lively that they ship nationwide.  You can follow Kanes Donuts @kanes_donuts on Instagram.  I just wrote this week about Katie Couric using her Instagram to help a Maine resident find her lost wedding ring and now Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are using their social media accounts to help local businesses. Speaking of Ryan Reynolds, did you know he owns a phone company? Like a T-mobile...yea it's called Mint Mobile, it's pretty cheap too. As soon as my contract is up I'm thinking of switching. Nice to see celebrities using their large social media followings for something good.
