Only $42 to Rent an Electric Boat and Cruise Boston Harbor With YOU As Captain
The old saying goes, "Why have a boat when you can have a friend with a boat..." or something like that.
Because owning a boat is 1). Expensive 2). A lot of upkeep. And 3). Expensive.
There is another option, renting a boat. Unfortunately, boat rentals are usually expensive...but not this summer.
Inexpensive Boat Rentals Boston Harbor, Boston, Massachusetts
According to a Boston Uncovered article, Boston Electric Boats is an inexpensive boat rental company out of Boston.
For only $42, you can be your own captain, cruising around Boston Harbor with views of Southie, Seaport, The Garden, and other Boston highlights.
Obviously, the first thing I thought of was what a great proposal idea...and an inexpensive one.
But for that amount of intimacy, it may be a little more money.
The electric boats, which have a max speed of 6 mph, seat 12 people. The boat itself costs $499 for 2 hours.
If you have three people or twelve people, the cost is the same. But, if you can come up with 12 people, like a friends night out or a bachelor party, it is only $42 per person!
Chartered Boat Rentals in Boston Harbor, Boston, Massachusetts
