Campaign Sign in Concord, New Hampshire, is Something we can all get Behind

Well, I can't believe it's finally here; election day! Many of us have anticipated this day for a long time. It brings up a lot of feelings for people. Those feelings include (but are not limited to) anxiety, fear, anger, and hopefulness.

No matter which side of the ballot you lean towards or what feelings you feel today, I think we can all agree that some comedic relief is welcome and encouraged in our news feeds.

I am a big fan of the New Hampshire subreddit thread. I find myself laughing out loud at some of the content posted on there. Perhaps I am way off base but of all the social media platforms out there, Reddit feels on the less toxic side to me.

I appreciate what a user named WanderingMindTravels was trying to do on the New Hampshire subreddit thread today.

He saw this sign on a back road near Concord, New Hampshire, snapped a pic, and shared it with the group.

Reading through the comments certainly helped alleviate my anxiety and brought some levity to the day:

Someone said they like mixing Captain Morgan and Dr. Pepper, he calls it the Surgeon General; clever! Others mentioned a rum punch or a Dark and Stormy. One gal mentioned she likes to mix her rum with apple cider for the ultimate Autumn treat!

Make sure you exercise your right to vote and take the edge off with a rum cocktail afterwards. We all deserve it!
