Can Patriots QB Tom Brady Play Until He’s 46 Years Old? Here’s What The GOAT Says.
We've all heard that stupid song, What Does The Fox Say. I may have heard it a few more times than the average person. But that's another story for another time.
New England Patriots fans are more interested in what the GOAT says...especially when it comes to retirement, and his future with the Pats.
Well according to Tom Brady, he wants to play for another five years. NECN says TB12 held a news conference at Patriots training camp recently and discussed his health and future with the team. He told reporters that he expects to be playing for New England next season, and well beyond.
Brady turned 41 on August 3. He was quoted as saying, “I would love to play five more years; I’d love to play 41, 42, 43, 44, 45. It will be a challenge for me. I don’t think it’s going to be easy. It’s going to be hard to do. I think it’s going to be very hard to do, but I think I can do. Once you stop, you’re done. And I think I’m not ready to say that I’m done because I don’t feel like I’m done. I think there are still things to accomplish. It would be like getting close to the mountain and thinking ‘Nah, I’m good.’ It’s like, no, you worked really hard to get to this point, why not finish it off?”
The Patriots first game of the season is this Sunday. They will play the Houston Texans. It's marks Brady's 17th season as the starting QB for the Pats.
