Candlelight Stroll in Portsmouth Has Been Happening Since 1979

According to onlyinyourstate.com, the Strawberry Banke Museum has been transforming into a Winter Wonderland every December in Portsmouth and this year is their 40th anniversary!

There are hundreds of illuminated lanterns that light the way as you stroll from house to house.

The site states that as you enter each historic house, a merry human wearing a costume will be there to greet you! You will feel as though you have entered a time capsule as you learn about Christmas traditions from long ago.

Plus there is ice skating and a horse drawn carriage ride. If this doesn't get you feeling festive, I'm not sure what will!
