Charges Upgraded In Lebanon Fatal Accident

(Lebanon, NH) - A Vermont man has been charged with Negligent Homicide and Felony Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in connection with a Wednesday night head-on crash in Lebanon. NH.

38 year old Daniel Cowdry of Hartland, Vermont was driving northbound in the southbound lane of I-89 when his vehicle struck another car head-on just south of exit 20.

34 year old Ellen Koelsch of North Kingston, Rhode Island was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just before 9 Wednesday night. A 4-year old boy in her car remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

Cowdry was arraigned on the charges and ordered held on $25-thousand cash bail.
