A familiar beer garden is SHIPPIN' UP TO BOSTON - WOAHHHH OH!

The rumormill is spinning as there is no "official" announcement from the brewery itself; however, multiple sources such as NBC10Boston, a Boston Restaurants blog, and others are reporting that Cisco Brewers is opening a beer garden outside of Fenway Park.

According to a Universal Hub article, the Zoning Board of Appeal approved plans from Cisco Brewers last week to turn the old Tasty Burger outside of Fenway into a year-round beer hall.

And yes, it gets better.

The plans call for a seasonal beer garden in the parking lot with live music (when weather cooperates again).

This is wild news.

I don't know why it took so long to make this happen, but it is a great idea.

Imagine having a few barely pops outside in June, looking at Fenway from a picnic table, drinking a Gripah (Grapefruit IPA), all before walking less than a quarter of a mile to a game...

It's happening this summer baby!

Again, no official word has been announced from the brewery but plans HAVE been approved in Boston...
