"American Idol" has made many people famous like Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, and Chris Daughtry.

It also brought many families together. I remember sitting on the couch with my mother with our eyes glued to the TV. I remember calling and calling on both the landline and our cell phones (yes, we are going back in time when people had house phones) for who we wanted to win.

Through the years, "American Idol" has made dreams come true for many individuals and has given people a chance to reach for their dreams. The first step in the show is to get that golden ticket, the one where we all know "You're going to Hollywood."

Sunday started the 20th season of "American Idol," and one girl from Massachusetts, Delaney Renee Wilson, is about to have her life changed.

Delaney Renee Wilson was a babysitter, and one video of her singing "Part Of Your World" started going viral after her boss, Nicki Maher (the mother of the child), posted it on TikTok back in June 2021.

The TikTok video went viral and even got noticed by many producers and celebrities.

Well, it seems that "American Idol" got ahold of her, and Delaney Renee Wilson starred in the season premiere on Sunday.

After she put her own spin on 'Opportunity' by Sia, it looks like Nicki Maher will need to find another babysitter.

After already catching the attention of many people on TikTok, there is no doubt that Delaney Renee Wilson blew viewers and the judges away.

She definitely got Luke Bryan's attention, he said, "From TikTok to Tinseltown."

That's right, Delaney Renee Wilson will no longer be babysitting, at least not for a while (even though Katy Perry asked how much she charges per hour and if Delaney would watch a 1-year-old).

She was handed that golden ticket and soon, we will see her in Hollywood representing Massachusetts and New England.
