Arlington, MA police are looking into an altercation involving a man and a middle school student after receiving a report of an assault Tuesday morning, according to the Arlington Patch.

The alleged incident was documented by the student's mother on the Arlington List Facebook group. She wrote that her son was biking to school that morning and stopped to wait for a jogger to pass. She said the man told her son he could go first. She continued "He heard the jogger tell him to go and so he went. Then before he knew it, the man ran after him and punched him in the arm, telling him he didn't say he could go. Needless to say, he was really shaken up by the whole incident.

The mom described the accused as a white middle aged male with facial hair wearing a yellow sports shirt and black shorts, according to the Patch.
