How devastating for the owners, the staff and the patrions who loved the Dive Restaurant in Alton.

Luckily, according to WMUR and other news outlets, all the customers and staff got off the ship safely.

This was a total loss for the owners of the Dive.  The restaurant isn't even in Smalls Cove anymore.  It's been towed away, as it was a complete loss.

Here's How to Help this NH Restaurant Owner to Recover

There has been a GoFundMe set up by one of the Dive's employees for the rebuild of the Dive.  They explain that everything was lost in the fire.  This wasn't just part of the structure, the fire started in the kichen, so they have lost all of their equipment, all their inventory and supplies.

The owners, Jaime and Betsy are incredibly grateful that all of their employees and customers got out safely, but they need the help now of the community they served for nine beautiful years on the water.

Here's the link for the GoFundMe.  As of the time of this writing, they are a little less than halfway to their $15,000 goal.  No one can predict the future of the Dive, but they are asking for your help if you have ever spent any time on the Dive and created lifetime memories.

All the best to Jamie and Betsy.  May they come back even bigger and better than ever!
