Rochester has come up with a brilliant idea to attract visitors.  Throughout the city, there are colorful picnic tables fitted with QR Codes.  Scan it, and it will tell you how to order food and have it delivered right to your table according to city officials.

If you and your dining companion can’t agree on what to eat, no problem. You can order from different restaurants and have them both delivered to your table.

This is just brilliant!  This ends the argument between couples of “what do you want to eat?” “I don’t care.”  Now they have to make a decision.

How to find the Tables

If you need help finding the tables, don’t worry they are listed on the city’s website.  Matt Wyatt, the city’s Public Information & Community Engagement Manager says  “All you have to do is find a table, scan the QR code, call the restaurant of your choice and pay for your order over the phone.

I tested it out with a group of friends, and we received food from two different restaurants within 20 minutes.!”  Rochester may have started a trend with this idea.

What a great way to eat out downtown without the hassle.  You never know what you are going to stumble across hanging out in downtown Rochester.
