Tucked Away Sports Bar in Durham, New Hampshire, Has Mouth Watering BBQ & Tacos
I've been in a bit of a restaurant rut as of late. Does that ever happen to you?
You go to your "old faithful" spots, the ones you've been going to for years. You order the same old thing because you know you'll like it. But where is the excitement? Where is the spontaneity? Variety is the spice of life, after all. And who wants to live a bland life sans spice? Not I!
I follow Seacoast Eats on Facebook and peep it whenever I am looking for restaurant-spiration. There was a recent post that stopped me in my tracks and made me pause my regularly scheduled scrolling activity.
Amy Dally shared with the group that she owns a sports bar with her husband Tim called Tim's Drunken BBQ and Tacos in Durham, New Hampshire.
The "drunken" part of the name and the fact that it is so close to the University of New Hampshire campus might lead you to believe this place is exclusively for drunken college students. I imagine they are welcomed with open arms however, so are people of all ages and their families!
Amy describes the restaurant as a small "sports bar vibe".
Their tacos, BBQ meats and BBQ sauces are all gluten free.

Tims Drunken BBQ and Tacos might be hard to find
They are a little hidden away in the rear of Jenkins Court so keep an eye out for the open flag.
People in the comments were raving that the brisket tacos are some of the best to have ever graced their taste buds. Commenters also have the nicest most positive things to say about Amy and Tim.
In the words of Drake...
Started as a food truck now we here
Tim and Amy had a wildly popular food truck before they opened their restaurant and they plan on firing the food truck back up once the weather warms up.
When you're out and about doing your Christmas shopping this week, pop into Tim's Drunken BBQ & Tacos for some well deserved satiation. You have to eat anyway so you might as well support a local, family owned business. know I'll be popping in and ordering whatever the heck this is. (Nachos, I'm guessing!)
