Embarrassing School Moments, and a New Hampshire Resident on ‘The Price is Right’

This morning we asked listeners for their most embarrassing school moment. Here's a small sampling of some red-faced moments:

Lisa says...7th grade, I was wearing a long skirt. I was sitting "Indian" style cause my skirt covered my legs that way. The teacher asked me to help her with something, I stood up and fell face first on the floor. My legs had gone completely numb. Took about 10 minutes before I could walk. Never sat like that again in school.

Apparently, Megan had a lot of embarrassing school moments. She writes..."As a teacher a parent or as a student?"  Sounds like there's several hours of therapy in Megan's future.

I remember falling off my chair during Social Studies class trying to catch a note being passed by one of my friends. It was a total face-plant, but I did catch the note!

New Hampshire Resident on 'The Price is Right'

Kristen of Strafford is going to be on "The Price is Right" on Thursday. I love it when locals make it on TV. We spoke to Kristen this morning, but she couldn't give us a lot of detail on what she won because she didn't want to spoil it for her grandmother. You see, Kristen's nana is a long-time viewer of TPIR and can't wait to watch the episode.

Meteorologist Gary Best says today you can expect a mix of clouds and sun, maybe an afternoon shower and 63. Clouds expected in the North Country with a chance of showers and a high of 58.

Stupid News

Officials at Plymouth University in the U.K. were left red-faced after an anti-cheating poster went sideways on them. The 'Plymouth Tab' reports math formulas on the poster were actual questions on an exam.

Joke du Jour

A golfer was walking around the fairway with five different caddies.  A friend asked him the following question:
"Hey Don, you've got five caddies with you...why so many?"
"Oh it's my wife's idea.  She thinks I should spend more time with the kids!"
