Leslie Kahn, from Epping, was swimming in her pool when she tried to get out, and the ladder broke...leaving her trapped for three hours. Then she remembered her iPad was close by, so she used a telescoping pole to snag it and drag it towards her.

According to WMUR, she logged on to the Facebook group the Epping Squawks, and posted the message "911." Neighbors immediately responded. One woman showed up at Leslie's house to offer assistance. And within minutes police arrived, as well as other concerned friends.
