Free Fall Festival At NH’s Weirs Beach Brings Dogs And Community Together

If your idea of a perfect fall weekend involves crisp air, local food, shopping, and an unreasonable number of dogs, I have found your plans for October.

The WinniPAWsaukee Diving Into Fall Festival is coming to Weirs Beach in Laconia on October 3rd and 4th, and it's obvious that your dog may have a better social calendar than you. LOL

Truly Mindful Company says, "Don’t miss a tail-wagging, action-packed fall festival you and your pup will never forget!"

The festival will feature DockDogs dock diving competitions, more than 50 local vendors and small businesses, food trucks (hello, BBQ!), raffles, giveaways, family-friendly activities, and plenty of four-legged friends. Sunday will also bring the Rainbow Bridge Car Show from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Alamo (70 Endicott St N, Weirs Beach, Laconia, NH).

And yes, admission to the festival is free, although some specialty experiences require tickets.

As a dog mom, I immediately thought: field trip! I have a Saint Bernard, a Pug and a Husky mix, so bringing all three somewhere to socialize could either be an adorable bonding experience… or the beginning of my villain origin story. Either way, I’m in!

PLUS, the event also benefits Old Dogs Go to Helen: a senior/hospice sanctuary who help senior dogs in need. Because our senior furry friends deserve love too (especially on their last years of life).
