Customer Says This New Hampshire Restaurant’s Fried Clams Are As Good As Any in New England
Here in New England, we take our fried clams very seriously. We know good ones when we taste them. Fish & Chix in Derry, New Hampshire was recently told that their fried clams were as good as the ones in Ipswich, Massachusetts restaurants. That's a bold statement.
This morning, we had Chris and Jason in from Fish & Chix in Derry, New Hampshire. They've only been open for a few months, but people are saying really good things already. Check out the pics of their food on their Instagram.
Chris and Jason have known each other for almost 25 years now and wanted to own a restaurant themselves, being in the game for so long. They brought in chicken tenders, which were crispy and delicious. They also brought in soft serve ice cream "Hurri-Cones" with waffle cones and all different kinds of toppings.

Fish & Chix Fried Clams Have Been Compared to a Famous Place in Ipswich, MA
Chris said on Mother's Day, there was an older man there who had just tried their fried clams at Fish & Chix. He said they were on the same level as that other restaurant in Ipswich, Massachusetts that claims to be the birthplace of the fried clam!
This customer also predicted that they will have a line out of their door for those tasty morsels before long because the freshness, the cripyness and the quality of the clams were so good. What? That is just about the highest compliment that he could have received, I think. Don't you?
Fish & Chix is located at 22 Manchester Road in Derry, New Hampshire
If you love fried clams like I do, I will travel a long way to get the best. 22 Manchester Road in Derry is just about across the street from the Tupelo Music Hall in Derry. Many people know where that is, so that might be a good landmark for you to find them.
