Few things bring me more joy than when communities, or better yet, people in communities, take initiative to better their area on their own account.

We have all seen videos go viral of a man planting flowers or trees in a field, and 100 years later, it has drastically affected the beauty of a town or county.

Well, not all community projects are that big. Sometimes a small project has a big impact...like the Little Free Library trend.

You have probably seen a "Little Free Library" or "book swap station" around your neighborhood.

The concept is simple. Someone makes a box, or a mini-library, and fills it with some books. Then, it turns into a book swap.

If someone in the community likes the free book in the mini-library, they take it out and swap it with a book of their own.

That way, there is always a full mini-library for the community to read from...and since you swap books, you get new reads and others get your old reads (likely new to them).

Well, one Little Free Library in Boston, Massachusett,s is making news headlines because it is above and beyond.

The adorable, likely smallest library in New England, is located at 271 Beacon St in Boston, MA.

It perfectly resembles the Boston architecture. The details in the windows are amazing too, with real pictures of people, children, books, etc.

To whoever did this for Boston, thank you. You are a perfect example of how we can all do something small in our community to make a big impact!
