There is nothing quite like fair season. First of all, it's the only time of year to be outside without the air hurting your face. Then of course there's the rides, the food, the animals, the random vendors, the races, fireworks, tractor pulls and so much more. Any Mainer worth their blueberries spends at least one day at their favorite local fair.

And who can forget the fan-favorite demolition derby?

Living through the last few years the Maine fair schedule has been touch and go. Some have been canceled entirely, others, like the famous Common Ground Fair going virtual.
