It's a wonderful family event in a community that's grown exponentially over the years.

This year, the City of Amesbury, Massachusetts, nestled just north of Boston and just south of the New Hampshire border, brings on the 27th Annual "Village of Church Fairs".

It's a day when the town and it's visitors, put aside and differences and come together through five local churches, all walking distance apart.

Mark Saturday, November 2, from 9am to 3pm.  The streets of Amesbury will be buzzing.

It's a family event, with food at each church location, raffles to join, baked goods, arts & crafts to buy, and plenty of Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations.

This is a time to come together, be together, and celebrate the holidays with each other.  Of course, all visitors are welcome.

Here are the five churches participating:

Market Street Baptist Church,
Union Congregational Church,
St. James Episcopal Church,
Main Street Congregational Church
St. André Bessette Parish (formerly Holy Family Parish)

It will be a day of celebration and fun for everyone, all ages.  For more information go to The Village of Church Fairs Facebook Page.

When five churches come together, you know it'll be a lively time, make plans to join the celebration, and plan to arrive hungry.  Have lunch at your favorite church, or purchase some Christmas gifts for those close to you.  These are gifts they won't return because they are so thoughtful and hand-crafted.

Check it out November 2nd from 9am-3pm in Amesbury.
