Gas Prices Jump Ahead Of Memorial Day Weekend

(Dover, NH) - Gas prices have taken a sharp jump as we prepare for the Memorial Day weekend.

The website gasbuddy.com reports that the average price for a gallon of regular this morning is $2.25 in New Hampshire. That's 7 cents more than last Monday and 13 cents a gallon more than a month ago.

The average price in Massachusetts is $2.28. In Vermont it's $2.32 and in Maine, it's $2.35.

California drivers pay the highest at an average price of $2.80 a gallon.

Mississippi drivers pay an average of $2.04 a gallon.
