Former President George W Bush was discharged from Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.

Reported by WGME 13, According to his spokesman, Jim McGrath, the 41st President of the United States was treated for low blood pressure. Back on May 27th, he was admitted after he experienced low blood pressure and fatigue hours after attending a pancake breakfast at the American Legion post in Kennebunkport.

At the time, McGrath wrote on Twitter “The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort.” Upon release, McGrath said the president “is deeply appreciative both for the terrific care and the many good wishes he has received.”

Earlier this year, Bush’s wife, Barbara Bush passed away at the age of 92.  The couple had been married for 73 years. Just a few days after the funeral, Bush was admitted to a Houston hospital, after contracting an infection that spread to his blood, according a release from his office.
