Shortly before 9pm Monday, suspects placed an order for food, and eventually made off with an unspecified amount of cash.

A scary incident has put residents of New Hampshire's Capital on high alert, after a an armed robbery allegedly took place at a Burger King drive thru Monday night, according to the Union Leader.

Concord police Lt. Sean Ford told the Union Leader that a silver or grey Toyota RAV4 pulled up to the drive-thru and placed an order at the Burger King restaurant at 15 Hall St. around 8:52 p.m. Monday. Police reported a female passenger in the Toyota pulled a gun on the cashier, and she and the male driver demanded cash. Police said they believe a second passenger may have been riding in the vehicle’s backseat. The vehicle made off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Union Leader. No injuries were reported.

Police say witnesses described the driver as having darker skin. Both he and the woman were wearing hoodies that covered portions of their faces. While they review surveillance footage, anyone with information is asked to contact police at 230-3728 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100.
