Happy National Ants on a Log Day
Did you know the people have been snacking on ants on a log since the 1950s? 'Cuz I didn't!
National Ants on a Log Day is always the second Tuesday in September and there is a method to this madness. Kids are headed back to school and celery smeared with peanut butter and sprinkled with raisins is a great snack to fuel our brains and keep us focused, for grown ups too!
I enjoy ants on a log but sometimes I like to get a little frisky and use chocolate chips instead of raisins. By the looks of Twitter, adjusting your ants on a log to your liking is totally accepted and encouraged.
