Have I Been Pronouncing Reese’s Pieces Wrong My Entire Life?

I was judged and ridiculed by my counterpart Bill Fox for the way I pronounce "Reese's Pieces". I say it REESE-EEZ PEE-SEAZ and Bill thinks that is the most ridiculous thing he has ever heard. His claim is PEE-SEAZ is not a word, which is a darn good point. However, it turns out I am not alone in the way I pronounce the tasty treats.

Of course some people sided with the Fox but they were few and far between...

What I learned today is that perhaps the company intended for it to be prounounced "REESE-EZ Pieces" but somewhere along the line someone decided it was more fun to call them "Piece-EEZ" and it just kind of stuck. Whether it is correct or not, I will not be changing my ways.
