NH Man Arrested On Animal Cruelty Charges
(Portsmouth, NH) - Portsmouth, NH Police have arrested a man wanted on animal cruelty charges.
59 year old Kenneth Hale has been charged by Portsmouth Police with 3 charges of Animal Cruelty for leaving a cat unattended in his State Street apartment for several months.
In response to sounds of an animal in distress, officials entered Unit #333 at 866 State Street and found the malnourished and dehydrated cat.
The female cat was found September 22, and indications are that she had been alone in the apartment since early June.
Police say Hale turned himself Tuesday night and will face a court appearance on December 4th.
