Hearing Today On NHMS Summer Concert Challenge

(Louden, N.H.) - A court hearing is scheduled for this morning on a challenge to a 3-day County Music Festival planned for this summer at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Louden officials had earlier approved the one-time festival to be followed by a review of the event, including noise levels.

Three residents that live near the track are citing a 1989 agreement that prohibits the track from hosting a concert not tied to a racing event.

A court hearing on the challenge will begin at 9 am in Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord.
