Heroic 9/11 Rescue Dog Returns to New York City
Such a happy story from such a horrific event.

The last living 9/11 rescue dog had a Sweet 16th birthday party given in her honor. Bretagne and her owner were part of the Texas Task Force 1 that was deployed to New York City in the aftermath of 9/11. The pair worked closely with other search and rescue teams to help locate trapped victims at Ground Zero.
Bretagne was recently celebrated by BarkPost, a blog site dedicated to all things canine.

The happy dog dined on a gourmet cheeseburger, played with toys and explored the city in a vintage taxi during her all expenses paid trip. Well deserved, Bretagne, well deserved indeed!
