Looking for something unique to do on the weekend? Why not immerse yourself in a classic film from Alfred Hitchcock at one of New Hampshire's oldest theatres?

I'm not sure about you, but I've been obsessed with movies for as long as I can remember, and my appreciation for classic cinema began when I became a theater actor at 15. I learned quickly that storytelling isn't always about flashy special effects or elaborate sets. Sometimes it's all about expression, movement, and emotion.

That's why I love revisiting classic directors who understood how to create tension and emotion visually.

One of them is Alfred Hitchcock.

On June 5th, Conway, New Hampshire's historic Majestic Theatre is wrapping up its Alfred Hitchcock film series with what many critics and movie lovers consider one of the greatest films ever made: "Vertigo."

The 1958 psychological thriller stars James Stewart as retired detective John "Scottie" Ferguson, whose fear of heights pulls him into a haunting mystery involving obsession, identity, and deception. Co-starring Kim Novak, the film unfolds against the stunning backdrop of San Francisco and delivers the kind of suspense Hitchcock became famous for.

Even if you've never seen "Vertigo," you've probably felt its influence. The movie regularly appears on lists of the greatest films ever made and continues to inspire directors nearly 70 years after its release.

Here's the details! Taking place at the Majestic Theatre in Conway, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $8 to $15, and concessions will be available!
