Hollis, NH, Woman on ‘Live With Kelly & Ryan’

A few months ago we had Laura Lenderman-Garber on Chio and Kira in the Morning to talk about her yearly mission to get holiday cards to our troops. Well, Laura recently got some national attention this week on "Live with Kelly and Ryan"!

Laura said this tradition started with her own family. She told her kids that no one is eating Thanksgiving dinner until they write at least one card to someone serving our country overseas.

It just expanded from there and now her 'Holiday Cards for Our Military' challenge has been happening for almost two decades and they send out thousands of holiday cards a year.

Laura shared that the threat of COVID-19 is making her mission a little more challenging this year. But spreading holiday cheer this year is more important than ever!
