I feel like not enough people are talking about how amazing this North Hampton, New Hampshire, breakfast spot is.

Don't get me wrong, it's extremely popular. If you go on a weekend morning be prepared to sit and wait for at least 20 minutes. The good news is, it's a cool place to wait! You can watch the little planes take off and land at the Hampton Airfield.

i am of course talking about the Airfield Cafe in Hampton.

The fact that you have front row seats to aviation station is obviously a big selling point but there are so many aspects of this restaurant that are unique and charming.

They have planes outside AND inside

Some stores or restaurants have a train set that continuously circles the perimeter but not at Airfield Cafe! Of course they have toy planes making their way around the restaurant. I love watching the joy in a child's eyes as they watch this show with wonder. Who needs Ms. Rachel on the iPad when you have that kind of entertainment?  (you can see them in the photo below)

The food is to die for

The portions are very generous and it's just the best kind of hearty, soul nourishing diner food. Even if you're feeling boring (I mean healthy) and decide to order a salad you won't be disappointed

They have really cool merch

Grab a Captain Cuddles stuffy or an Airfield Cafe coffee mug while you wait for your table!

I also love that they give local businesses love on their place mats. I know in this age of social media this is considered a very old school form of marketing. However, it is still very affective! We discovered a great paving company because they were on the placemat at the Airfield Cafe!

If you haven't been to the Airfield Cafe in Hampton, do yourself a favor and check it out. ESPECIALLY if you have kiddos! They are going to love it!
