It’s Graduation Day For Maine Police K-9s
(Vassalboro, Maine) - The four newest police dogs and their handlers have graduated from the Maine State Police K-9 Patrol School.
The teams have had 14 weeks of training at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.
The graduates are Officer Katie Thurlow & K-9 Creed of South Portland Police, Officer John Rogers & K-9 Gunther of Yord PD, Corporal Troy Hood & K-9 Murphy of the Maine Department of Corrections and Maine State Trooper G.J. Neagle & K-9 Junior of Troop C.
The teams showed off some of their skills following the graduation ceremony.
