The Official Fireworks Schedule For Old Orchard Beach

Because millions of people know about it, you can't really call it hidden, but Old Orchard Beach really is a New England gem.

A rarity in New England, it is a quintessential tourist beach town. In addition to the miles of sandy beach, the town offers cool shops, arcades, amazing restaurants, and some of the best nightlife north of Boston.

All that said, what really sets the town apartment from other Maine and New Hampshire tourist towns is that Old Orchard Beach is home to a seaside amusement park!

Palace Playland at Old Orchard Beach

The park, which has been around for well over a century, has grown over the years. Currently, it is home to several dozen rides, games, and concession stands. Additionally, the park has a massive arcade. So, no matter what you're into, there is something for you at Palace Playland.

Thursday Night Fireworks in Old Orchard Beach, Maine

One of the coolest things the park does is weekly fireworks displays throughout the peak of the summer season.

This year, those fireworks displays will be on the following Thursdays: June 25th, July 2nd, July 9th, July 16th, July 23rd, July 30th, August 6th, August 13th, August 20th, and August 27th. There will also be a fireworks display on the 4th of July.

As has been the case for years, the best viewing of these fireworks will be from Old Orchard Beach itself.
