When it comes to things to do in Maine, most of us looking for super-fun INDOOR things to do about six months out of the year.

Sure, Maine has its fair share of beaches, water parks, amusement parks, hiking trails and a wide array of great outdoor options when it comes to 'stuff to do'. But when it gets bitter cold outside, our options really start to shrink.

What is there to do in Maine when it's cold out?

You can take your kids bowling, to the movies, the jump park or to great local places like Mr. Drew & His Animals, Too or Family Time Dine & Play, but what about options that are geared a bit more to adults?

According to an article published by Mainebiz, a new concept business featuring an indoor mini-golf course, a restaurant and even a bar is slated for Maine in the coming months.

So where can we find this new place once it opens?

The article goes on to explain the the new indoor entertainment facility will be located at 265 Marginal Way in Portland, Maine. It will encompass a whopping 15,288 square feet of the existing space.

Kevin Moschella of Minibar LLC, said in part about the large project,

“This is not part of a chain and it is a totally new venture for me as my background is in finance and, before that journalism, but I'm working with a great team of architects, designers, contractors and restaurant consultants to serve as advisors and implementers,” 

Is this an adults only attraction?

Moschella went on to explain that while this will be a venue for all ages, it is really going to be geared towards young adults with features like a bar complete with 'boozy milkshakes' and other fun adult offerings.

Mainebiz says that the venue will host mini-golf leagues and tournaments as well as private events, trivia nights and other fun events. As of right now, they say the plan is for them to open the new attraction sometime in June.
