Brownville's Food Pantry for Deer
Richard McMahon has been feeding deer during winter for over twenty years, starting in Medford, Maine. When he moved to Brownville, he continued his efforts to help sustain the deer herd through the winter when it became more difficult for them to find food. That's when he created a non-profit organization called Brownville's Food Pantry For Deer.
The deer come every winter now and usually eat very peacefully. Occasionally a few bucks might get into a fight, but for the most part, things are pretty tranquil at the pantry, until....
Wild Turkey Fights
Wild turkeys came to the food pantry for deer on a chilly Friday morning after fresh snow had fallen and couldn't pass up the free meal. They also couldn't share very well, unlike the deer. The turkeys were loud, chasing other turkeys away and flat-out fighting others. The cacophony of turkey sounds was almost deafening on the live camera.

The deer wanted no part of this, so they moved out of the way and let the turkeys fight it out. It appears no turkeys or deer were harmed and later in the day, the turkeys left leaving the leftovers for the deer.
