A Maine family is being surrounded with love after a devastating fire destroyed their home recently.

This happened on Pine Street in Wilton, as per WMTW.

Firefighters from more than one department were dispatched to the scene, but the house was fully engulfed by the flames by the time the crews had arrived.

As per the report, due to the concerns of safety they had to fight the fire from the outside.

No one was in the home at the time, but the blaze sadly claimed the families beloved pets, a dog and a cat. The firefighters were able to rescue chickens from the barn but the animals and the home were totally lost.

Below is live coverage from the fire, as per WMTW-TV YouTube.

Because of this terrible tragedy, the town and beyond are trying the best they can to provide for this local family.
