North Conway, New Hampshire, is Home to One of Guy Fieri’s Favorite Bagels Ever

It's not a stretch to say that Guy Fieri is the biggest culinary star in the world right now. He's currently part of six shows running on Food Network and recently inked an extension to become the highest-paid celebrity chef on the channel.

That sort of recognition brings plenty of juice, meaning that when Guy Fieri visits a restaurant and tells you that he absolutely loves an item that they serve there, people take a moment and really listen.

Fieri's most popular show on Food Network is Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, where he travels the country to find some great under-the-radar spots serving up delicious food. The show continues to churn out new episodes highlighting great places. Including a recent episode filmed in New England.

Guy Fieri Instantly Falls in Love During His Visit to New Hampshire

Unfortunately, Fieri's trips to New England have been few and far between in recent years. But he did manage to take a pass through North Conway, New Hampshire, late in 2022, when he discovered one of the best bagels he's ever had in his life.

The Mayor of Flavortown visited Big Dave's Begels and Deli and savored in the New Jersey-style bagels that the restaurant is churning out. Guy was blown away by the deliciousness of Big Dave's jalapeño-parmesan bagel, which Fieri seemed to want to pack his car with in bulk. If he didn't, his two sons certainly did.

Big Dave's also surprised Fieri with something unique: a trademarked dessert called the "Kweenie". A twist on a classic French pastry, the Kweenie wowed the Fieri family, leaving Guy to call the dessert "outstanding" multiple times during the episode.

It's not the first time Fieri has fallen in love with some food items in New England. Three of his favorite meals ever on Triple D were served up at various spots in Maine and New Hampshire.
